Belle helped us plan our June 2013 vacation to Italy to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. She was extremely helpful with suggestions on making our trip perfect. We visited Rome, Cinque Terre, Florence, and Venice. With many hotels to stay at, she helped us narrow everything down according to the best area for us in each city and our budget. For first timers in Europe, the Rail was very confusing to us. With her help we got to and from each city with ease and less stress. Belle was extremely helpful in booking our first family trip to Hawaii summer of 2013! Planning a vacation can be very overwhelming, but it sure it didn't feel that way with this trip. It was the first time we actually had an agent do the work, and boy does it make the biggest difference! What probably would have taken us weeks and weeks of planning took Belle not more than a few days. Belle did all of the homework for us which saved so much time. Belle did an incredible job setting up my family for our trip to Hawaii. We had a group of 8 adults and 6 children; and our daughter was barely a year old at the time. I could not imagine what a headache it would have been to handle all of this planning on our own, not to mention how long it would have taken to do all of the research and comparisons. Belle handled everything for us; from coordinating a flight for our fairly large group, arranging it so that we were all seated together, setting up transportation, and even making sure we got the hotel that we wanted, along with the view! I forgot to mention that during this trip, we would be celebrating our sister's 10th wedding anniversary...so Belle made sure that there were some special arrangements set up for the couple, which was an awesome surprise when they got to their room. And she was able to organize everything within a matter of days. For those that are wondering, Belle is extremely well-traveled and even provided us with her own advice regarding our trip that really paid off for us. We have used Belle to help us plan multiple trips to Hawaii. I compared Belle's prices and packages to those that I found online and was very impressed with the deals she presented. I found that Belle offered better customized packages (i.e. better hotel, more convenient flights, great car rental upgrades) than those presented to me on Kayak, Travelocity, and Hotels.com. In fact, Belle's prices were EVEN CHEAPER than the offers shown on those websites. She even gifted us with a special chocolate treat and adult beverage that the hotel pleasantly surprised us with upon check-in! I wasn't able to start booking travel until a a little over a month before we were supposed to leave on our honeymoon/wedding trip for my college girlfriend in February 2015. Belle was quick to ask me questions and then get all the necessary information and possible trip options for my trip soon after. She was always following up with all of my email responses and was available right up to the day of our trip.
I chose Belle specifically because she had been to New Zealand and I trusted her own travel experiences there. She picked some wonderful hotel locations and trip experiences for for our North Island stay in Auckland, Rotorua, and later in Nelson on the South Island.
She planned a good mix of guided tours and free days so that we could get a robust experience.
We had tour guides to take us to a rainforest/beach/waterfall hike and Hobbiton but we also had time to roam and discover the towns we stayed in. Our first day in Auckland we hiked around the city and discovered the art museum and a free concert in the park and it was a wonderful way to hit the ground running. In Nelson we had time to celebrate a national holiday called Waitangi Day in the park and got a little taste of local arts and culture.
In addition to her own travel knowledge of the area, she was even kind enough to have a honeymoon gift basket of New Zealand goodies waiting for us in our Auckland hotel room. It's those extra thoughtful touches that made her a great agent to work with and we would recommend Belle and Belleissimo Travel.
